Subject: [Tweeters] Kent Ponds today...wow!

Today I did my walk starting at the Boeing Ponds and walking south to the Kent Ponds and Riverview Marsh. There were many highlights.
I am glad that someone else previously reported the Sandhill Cranes, because I saw them at a distance, flying in circles west of the Frager Road. I saw them as I walked west from the Boeing Ponds towards the Green River.
At the Kent Ponds I found the Western Kingbird near the north tower. At least two Lazuli Buntings were putting on a great show along the southern edge of the Kent Ponds, very close to the south tower.
I found my first Willow Flycatcher of the year at the Riverview Marsh...or whatever it is called! I also found a skulking Wood Duck and several singing Black-headed Grosbeaks.
I didn't do so well with shorebirds, one Spotted Sandpiper at the Boeing Ponds, and some scattered Killdeers here and there. I haven't had any luck with the Yellow-breasted Chat yet.
