I'm not at all sure based on the picture, Kevin, but I have had terrible
luck with vireos in general in my birding life: they're the "bird singing
really loudly that can't be seen" all too often.

In the pic, much of the important stuff is hidden behind a leaf; what, in
your observations, made you think it was a WAVI?

Please note I'm not doubting your ID at all, I just hope you can educate me
so _I_ can see it myself!
