This morning I went in search of Hermit Warblers in Capitol Forest. I found 2 possibly 3 singing up in the tree tops near Fuzzy Top peak. I had one come close so I could see its black throat and yellow sides of its head. The birds were located on the D-1000 road. I accessed it from Highway 12 heading southeast out of Elma through Malone and then less than a mile south of Porter turning left onto the C-line. Follow the C-line all the way up to its intersection with the D-1000.
