Hi Tweets,
Rainier Audubon has developed a presentation, Native Plants and the
Birds That Love Them, to encourage people to use native plants to create
bird-friendly yards. Using Russell Link's book, _Landscaping for
Wildlife in the Pacific Northwest,_ and the observations of many of our
members, we created a handout of native plants and birds that use them.
This information is now available on our website. Go to
www.rainieraudubon.org and click on the "plants and birds list" link at
the bottom of the left hand side of our home page.
If you've noticed a bird-native plant relationship that we have not
identified, let me know off list. We plan to update the information
periodically. Additions/corrections welcome.
Good gardening for good birding--
