Subject: [Tweeters] Ocean Shores birding this weekend?

Hello,

I'm travelling to Seattle for a two-week vacation tomorrow.
We're planning on spending the weekend at a friend's place in
Ocean Shores and I'm wondering whether there is any possibility
of seeing shorebirds at this time of year, and if so, what is
still likely to be in the area? I realize that this is too late
for the peak of migration, but will anything still be around? I
have the Birder's Guide to Washington, but most of what it talks
about for that area refers to other times of the year. If I can
convince the non-birding people I'm with to indulge me in going
birding for a few hours Sunday morning, which spot is most
likely to provide interesting birding now?

Thanks for any advice you can provide. This is a mostly
non-birding trip, but I still intend to squeeze in as much
birding as I can with irritating my sister and the various
people we're visiting too much.
