March?s Point is home to what may be the largest great blue heron
colony on the west coast with an estimated 500 to 700 active nests.
Last year a team of citizens from Leadership Skagit teamed up with
Skagit Land Trust and Padilla Bay Reserve to install a camera in the
colony to bring live video to the exhibits at the Breazeale
Interpretive Center. Attend this presentation to learn about the
Great Blue Herons and the Heron Cam project. Enjoy this chance to
view the herons and their chicks in ?real time.? Saturday, May 26th
