Subject: [Tweeters] Chipping Sparrow - Spada Lake, Snohomish County

Hi,

Duane Karna and I birded Spada Lake this morning.

Main highlight was a Chipping Sparrow on the road going left - after the
Registration point. Also nearby was Pygmy owl which was calling and then
came into view with a little encouragement. There was a male Barrow's
Goldeneye on the small lake just before the registration area.

Other birds also seen included Common Loon, Am Dipper, Hammond's Flycatcher,
several Pac Slope Flycatchers, Western tanagers and abundant Warbling Vireos
and a probable Golden Eagle.

Cheers and Good Birding
