Hello All,

Well yet another Lesser Goldfinch showed up in Walla Walla at the feeder of
Ginger and Rodger Shoemake. This is the fourth Walla Walla County record and
the third to show up in the beautiful Shoemake yard. This bird is a female
and has been well photographed. The species is expanding north and will no
doubt someday be a common breeder here. For now it is special to see one and
still very exciting to see one. This is bird # 200 for this year in Walla
Walla County! Way to go Ginger and Rodger.
