I have had a Blue Jay in my yard for the last 4 days. He appeared Wednesday
morning and I have seen him every day since then. He is in my yard at the
moment, Saturday 10am. This was a lifer for me, being a westerner, so was
pretty exciting. I would welcome visitors if they would like to see him. I
was able to get a pretty good picture Thursday morning, and Kerry Turley, of
the Yakima Audubon, saw him with me on Friday morning, confirming that he's
a Blue Jay. I understand they are very uncommon anytime, but even moreso in
late spring. If anyone is interested, reply and I'll post directions and
phone number. If you call first, I can put the dogs in the house so they
don't make a ruckus.
