Hi Tweeters,

Tip and I were on a walk through the Horan Nature Area this morning, May 19,
with guide Jeff Parsons, Director of the Barn Beach Reserve, when Tip
spotted a Blackburnian Warbler. Jeff and another experienced birder
confirmed the identification, but the bird is not on the Wenatchee check
list. We would love to hear from anyone who has seen this bird in eastern
Washington or anywhere in the northwest.

The walk was one of the events during the Leavenworth Bird Festival. We also
saw the following birds on our walk:
