I watched the White-faced Ibis at the se corner pond of the "Boeing Ponds," opposite 62nd St. T until about 4:30 PM today. It was feeding avidly in the muck and the rain. A fine bird. Thanks to Kraig Kemper for finding it and getting the word out. Likely the third county record (previous records also in Kent, mid-June 2000 and mid-May 2001).

There were also 7 Red-necked Phalaropes at the 212th St. construction site ponds.
