Hi Kristin et al.,

I see a Pileated Woodpecker pretty regularly in Lincoln Park (West Seattle).
(Last week I finally got a terrific photo of it at the top of a phone pole
at the north end of the park.) The last two times I?ve been in Schmitz Park
(also West Seattle) in the last three weeks, I heard two, saw one. I don?t
know about nesting, though.

Hope this helps!

Subject: [Tweeters] Pileated Woodpecker

Hi Tweets,

I have a received a request from a woman and her daughters from California
who will be in the Olympia/Tumwater area June 27th, and apparently the girls
are very anxious to see a Pileated Woodpecker. I originally received this
request in February! They must be very serious about seeing this bird. In
any case, if anyone has some really specific and reliable information about
where they might find them, I'd love to be able to relay that information. I
will be out of the country from June 1st to the the 25th so can't be
scouting much myself. Does anyone have a nesting pair?

Her name is Cathy Tobin. Her email is Krazy4horses2 at aol.com

Thank you,

Kristin Stewart
