Greetings All

So, Brad Waggoner and I spent a festive Sunday getting drenched on the Oly Pen (that would be, Olympic Peninsula for the abbreviation averse).
During a lovely brief 3 hour rainless spell, we had the following

Eur Collared Dove (at least one, possibly as many as 3) between the road to the Three Crabs Restaurant and the entrance road to Dungeness Landing County Park (near where the Common Grackle was).

5+ Red Knot and 1 Parasitic Jaeger at the 3 Crabs Restaurant viewpoint into Dungeness Bay

1 Bank Swallow over pond down the road from Helen's Pond (near the 3 Crabs).

Earlier in morning had 2 Yellow-headed BBs at the feeders in front of Vic Nelson's house at Point No Point.

Other birds of some interest were 25 lingering Black Brant and 75 or so Brandt's Cormorants in Dungeness Bay, 9 lingering Mew Gulls at the head of Discovery Bay.

Cheers
Steven Mlodinow
