Additionally, we birded a bit in Moses Coulee and saw
a SAGE SPARROW and a LOGGERHEAD SHRIKE. The Shrike
held a butterfly in it's beak.

There were Mule Deer on the Waterville Plateau, a
Least Chipmunk at Stallard Lake, Mt. Cottontail in
Moses Coulee, and Coyotes howling at Wilson Creek.

On Saturday, Cindy and I saw BLACK TERNs flying over a
marsh along I-90 (Spokane County).
