BenC, try taping some paper up over the window where the robin is seeing
its reflection and fighting it. Leave it up for 3-4 days.

Today is the fourth day that an orange breasted Robin has been
repeatedly flying up against the glass of my windows. I've tried both
yelling and a water hose but the bird keeps coming back. The first two
days it was raining; the bird would fly up against the glass of one of
three large window about every 15 seconds. There were foot pattern and
body patterns all over the glass. Today, the fourth day, the repetition
rate is much lower.
Any suggestions about how to discourage this activity would be
appreciated.
