Hi folks,

I'll be visiting from Pittsburgh next weekend. I've been to Washington
several times so I am pretty familiar with the area.

One bird I am very interested in seeing, my "nemesis" bird if you will, is
Williamson's Sapsucker. I will be staying for two days in the Ellensburg
area, very close to the heart of Williamson's country, I presume, so I think
I should not miss it this time. But, strange things happen to me when I seek
this species, so if anyone has some exact info on where to find one of these
elusive (for me) birds, I would really appreciate it!

Other area birds that I would be more than happy to track down on this trip
include Flammulated Owl, Spotted Owl, and Sage Thrasher and Sparrow. Any
info on those would also be appreciated.

Can't wait to get back to the Pacific Northwest!

Thanks in advance,
