Sunday May 27 - at about 3 pm, in our garden in Leschi, about 4 blocks from
Lake Washington, an adult Black-throated sparrow. It hopped around on the
ground, and then worked the crevices in a rock wall. Spent about 5 minutes
eating a dandelion seed head. Clearly seen by both of us with binoculars.
About 20 feet distant. Good side and front views. We had time to get out the
bird books and check identification, but not to get a photo.
