Subject: [Tweeters] YB Chat at Stillwater on Monday morning

No flight displays this morning at 8:20am. Just a few quick furtive glances
that I might have easily missed or written off as another Yellow Warbler or
Waxwing in the willows if I hadn't investigated all motion closely to see
through the leaves and branches. Maybe he only does afternoon matinee
aerial performances.

He was right there at the Harris Creek bridge as mentioned by several others
(not Hughes by the way). . . . just to the northeast about 100 feet. You
need an Access permit to park at the trailhead just west off Rt 203 a
hundred yards or so north of the Stillwater Store. As mentioned before,
Harris Creek is a short walk to the south and there is a sign on it that
says Harris Creek.

Also had 2 south-to-north and 1 north-to-south Am Bittern fly-bys just to
the west from 7:45am-10:00am which I thought was pretty interesting. Saw 1
in good light in the binos for a bit, but not quick enough with the camera,
dang nabbit.

Very birdy spot with the presumed usuals . . . C Waxwings, Willow
Flycatcher, W-wood Peewee, Bewick's Wren, Pileated WP, 2 RB Sapsuckers
easily seen at the bridge, Yellow Warbler, Am Goldfinch, BH Grosbeak.

No Lazuli seen.
