Beautiful day, broken clouds.
A pair of Red-necked Phalaropes were swimming
downriver. Boy they were fast. I got some photos with
my DSLR, but I should have used my Digiscope system. I
got some OK ID photos but nothing spectacular. This
was a life experience for my wife and I.

It will take a while before I post them to my website.
I have tons of photos to process.

I Digiscoped some of the 10 Canada Geese chicks that
I'm told have been there for some time. I also saw 3
Mallard chicks and got some excellent photos of the
mother since see would not swim away from the babies
that were huddled in the grass near shore at the pond.
Plenty of Red-winged Blackbirds.
