Hi Tweeters,

If anyone is interested...
There will be a free bird walk, guided by park ranger Daniel Christian at
Penrose Point State Park this Saturday, June 2 at 9 am. Meet at the main
day-use parking lot. We have observed activity from all the usual suspects.
A few of my favorites are (in no particular order):

nesting bald eagles
king fishers
pileated woodpeckers
brown creepers
swainson's thrush
black-throated gray warblers
wilson's warblers
pacific-slope flycatchers
winter wrens

Happy birding!
