The first bird is an Orange-fronted Parakeet; the second is a female
Blue Grosbeak. Both are common in the lowland areas around San Blas.
Yellow Grosbeaks are brighter yellow (even the female), have a larger
bill, white wing-bars and spots on the scapulars, and don't usually
occur in the lowlands (they're most common in the foothills above
town).

Let me know next time you get down there - we can go birding if I'm at
home between trips. The birding around San Blas is excellent.
