I have been at a location on the bay about half way up the Long Beach
Peninsula for a few days. While not having had the opportunity to do any
serious birding, the shorebird show has been interesting.

Maximum numbers from the deck where I am staying:

Dunlin: 16,000
Western Sandpipers: 23
Least Sandpipers: 135
Greater Yellowlegs: 48
Black-bellied Plovers: 112
Killdeer: 6
