I've been taking pics of yardbirds to get used to my newest camera. Today,
just before the light was too far gone, a female Sharp-shinned Hawk stopped
in looking for supper. She gave me several poses on my brushpile about 15
feet away. It's interesting how they will seem to ignore you as long as you
don't make any threatening moves. What fun!
