Hello All,

Not more than 7 min. ago I stood in the rain looking at the adult female
BLACK-THROATED BLUE WARBLER that was first found this last Thursday by
MerryLynn at the north end bridge entrance into the Wal-Mart here in College
Place. This is a beautiful bird with the white patch in the folded
primaries. It feeds low through the ripairan habitat. I observed it feeding
on small insects in a huge gray rabbitbush and in the lower branches of a
Russian Olive. This is 249 for the county year list. This is #335 for Walla
Walla Co.! It will no doubt stick around today. It does not come into
recordings or pishing-rather it just pops up in view.
