I had a sunny walk at the Theler Wetlands on Saturday, just S of Belfair, WA
on Hwy 3. See http://www.thelercenter.org/wetlands for more info. If you
haven't been, you really should go! It was high tide while I was there.

Union River Estuary Trail:

100+ cormorants, perched and swimming together

Two notes:

1. Has anyone else seen or heard of a RSH in that area? I've heard of
sightings at Ridgefield and the Sequim area.

2. Seen from the Bremerton Ferry: Pigeon Guillemots, Surf Scoters, Grebes,
Common Murre, a Harlequin Duck
