Hello All,
After watching the female Black-throated Blue Warbler this morning we
departed and headed out west, towards the clear sky and some sun. We located
the following interesting species......

Glaucous Gull......1 adult on the poop piles along HWY 12.
Pacific Loon..........3 basic plumaged adults at the base of Ice Harbor Dam
Spotted Sandpipers..2 birds at the base (down stream) of Ice Harbor Dam.
LONG-TAILED DUCK....1 ad. male in with three male Barrows Goldeneyes and 25
Lesser Scaup. This bird was last seen half way between the dam and the down
stream island. This is bird # 250 for the Walla Walla County year list.
Great Horned Owl-1 ad. near Charbonneau Park along the Snake River.

Canada Goose-one adult with a bright orange right leg band, USF&W band on
the left leg and no neck band. This bird was with 115 other Canada's on the
only down stream island below Ice Harbor Dam, Walla Walla County,
Washington. Located by Mike Denny.

Started out in rain, but being the desert that did not last and now skies
are clear.

Later Mike
