Hi Tweets,

I apologize if someone has already posted about this book, but I just
received a copy in the mail and I thought others might be interested. The
Rare Birds Yearbook 2008 is now available. It contains photos, historical
information, natural history and conservation status reports on the 189 most
endangered bird species in the world. In addition, it has chapters on the
organizations that are working to save these birds, individuals who are
studying them, and eco-tours that will take you to the places where the
birds can be seen. Right now it is only available from this website:
http://www.rarebirdsyearbook.com/, but it appears that it will be on
Amazon.com in the near future.

In addition, for the photographers out there, there is a link on the site
above to submit your photos for possible inclusion in the 2009 Rare Birds
Yearbook. I submitted a few shots of the Juan Fernandez Firecrown to this
year's addition and two of them were used in the book!
