My thistle seed bag currently has a new visitor - a northern flicker, as big
as the bag. Hope it's getting its beak through those tiny holes, and not
just ripping bigger ones....



That's in addition to the three on the lawn and the one on the tree being
harassed by an Anna's hummingbird. I seem to see flickers in loose groups
quite a bit over the winter.
