Hello, this is the Audubon Society of Portland Rare Bird Report. This report
was made Wednesday November 21. If you have anything to add call Harry Nehls
at 503-233-3976.

On November 20 a RED-NAPED SAPSUCKER was near Brookings. On November 17 an
AMERICAN TREE SPARROW, a SWAMP SPARROW, and four WHITE-THROATED SPARROWS
were at Millicoma Marsh in Coos Bay. A LONG-TAILED DUCK was near Florence
November 15.

Several hundred SNOW GEESE are being seen on the east side of Sauvie Island.
On November 20 a flock of 20 SURF SCOTERS flew past Kelley Point Park in
North Portland. Two ROSS?S GEESE were seen November 16 near the Eugene
Airport.

On November 19 a RED-BREASTED MEERGANSER, five COMMON LOONS, a PACIFIC
LOON, and three RED-NECKED GREBES were on Haystack Reservoir near Madras. At
the Prineville Sewage Ponds November 19 was a RED-NECKED GREBE and an
EURASIAN WIGEON. Four WHITE-WINGED SCOTERS were on the Hines Sewage Ponds
November 18.
