Hi tweeters,
today my brother and I went to the fill (UBNA) and saw the following birds.
our first highlight was a bright male Eurasian Wigeon. there was a small
streak of green were it should have been on a american wigeon which suggests
a hybrid (I think). our other star bird was a juvenile Long-billed
Dowitcher. there were LOTS of ducks out in union bay. we were suprised by
the lack of great blue herons. usually we see more than one. it was great to
be out there on such a beutiful day.
