The IVORY GULL near Abbotsford has not been seen since November 13, and the
ROSS'S GULL near Vanderhoof, BC has not been seen since November 11.

Sightings for Tuesday, November 20th

5 MARBLED GODWITS were present at Blackie Spit in Surrey

The GREAT EGRET continues at the Serpentine Fen WMA in Surrey. It was
seen from the King George Hwy (Hwy 99A) on the east side of the Fen.


No sightings reported for Monday, November 19th


Sightings for Sunday, November 18th

At Lighthouse Marine Park in Point Roberts, Washington, 4 ANCIENT MURRELETS
and 6 MARBLED MURRELETS were seen along with other seabirds off the point.


Sightings for Saturday, November 17th

The Maplewood Conservation Area in North Vancouver produced at least
2 and possibly as many as 12 COMMON REDPOLLS in a flock of around 200 PINE
SISKINS.

In Delta, a GYRFALCON was seen near the foot of 96th Street on the north
side of Boundary Bay.


No sightings reported for Friday, November 16th


Sightings for Thursday, November 15th

The Maplewood Conservation Area in North Vancouver produced a SHORT-
EARED OWL.


Sightings for Wednesday, November 14th

The SLATY-BACKED GULL was seen again near Page Road, just off Highway 11
between Abbotsford and Mission, but the IVORY GULL in the same area could
not be relocated.


Sightings for Tuesday, November 13th

The adult IVORY GULL was again present for the fourth consecutive
day today it was located along Page Rd in the morning only. Also, a
SLATY-BACKED GULL was reported in the flock.

A TOWNSEND'S SOLITAIRE was seen at the Barber Centre on the University of BC

Campus near Vancouver.

The Reifel Bird Sanctuary in Delta produced a MARBLED GODWIT and a RUDDY
DUCK.


Sightings for Monday, November 12th

The adult IVORY GULL was again present for the third consecutive
Day in Abbotsford. Today it was located several hundred metres farther east
along Page Road at Hayton Road, a short spur road on the north side of Page
Road. Also among the large flocks of gulls was a 1st winter FRANKLIN'S GULL.
At least 40 TRUMPETER SWANS and 400 CACKLING GEESE were in corn stubble
fields along Page Road.

Three BROWN-HEADED COWBIRDS were with Brewer's Blackbirds at Brydon Lagoon
in Langley.


Sightings for Sunday, November 11th

The adult IVORY GULL was again present at the same location as
Yesterday near Abbotsford.

The Reifel Bird Sanctuary in Delta produced a NORTHERN GOSHAWK.

Out of town, the adult ROSS'S GULL was again seen on Tachick Lake
southwest of Vanderhoof.


Sightings for Saturday, November 10th

An adult IVORY GULL was found on the Matsqui Flats just east of the Hwy 11
(Abbotsford-Mission Hwy) in a large flock of gulls and crows on a
farm field. (to get there, take Hwy 1 east, head north on Hwy 11,
turn left on Harris Rd., right on Riverside, follow Riverside under
Hwy 11 and turn right on to Page Rd. The flock was on the south side
of Page about 200 metres east of the intersection with Sim Rd.)

Out of town, an adult ROSS'S GULL was found on Tachick Lake, southwest
of Vanderhoof. The gull was viewed from the Tachick Lake Resort (to
get there, follow signs to the Kenney Dam via Kenney Dam Rd. Shortly
after the road turns to gravel, watch for the sign to Tachick Lake
Resort which is on Tachick Lake Rd)

At Serpentine Fen in Surrey, the GREAT EGRET continues and has been
reported on an almost daily basis since Oct 28th. It is being seen
most often in the pond nearest to the King George Highway (Hwy 99A).

A PRAIRIE FALCON was reported from east of 72nd St in Delta, and out toward
Mud Bay.
