Subject: [Tweeters] Vantage - Black Scoter and Long-tailed Duck

Hi,

Yesterday we relocated the male Black Scoter, found by Michael Hobbs last week. It was by Huntzinger Road, just south of Getty Cove.

One of the two Long-tail ducks was nearer to Getty Cove in a large flock of mixed Scaup etc. The other LTDU was seen from the boat launch, Wanapum State Park.

There were 7 White Pelicans south of the dam - observed from near the cliffs where Rosy-finches have been seen for the last several winters. Also a late Canyon Wren on those cliffs.

Cheers and good birding
