Hello Fellow Tweeters,

We just got back from a glorious 3 days of birding at Reifel, SemiAhmoo and the Skagit Flats. Some of our "Best sightings" among our 58 birds were: Short-eared Owl at Hayton, Rough-legged at the Flats, Cooper Hawk at Reifel, Rudy Duck at SemiAhoo, Western Meadowlark at SemiAhmoo, Black Turnstones at SemiAhmoo, Harlequins at SemiAhmoo and Birch Bay, Cedar Wax Wing at Reifel and of course the Sandhills at Reifel.

We also saw several raptor feeding attempts including: a pair of Bald Eagles in Drayton Harbor after a gull, Harrier after multiple ducks at Reifel and a beautiful look of a Rough-legged kiting repeatedly. Truly beautiful!

Lastly, just wanted to get some feedback on how people feel about the feeding at Reifel?

Happy Birding.....Mark Shimazu, Kelly O'Rourke
