Hello tweets,

The holidays are coming, as you know, and the one gift
that everyone loves to talk about is BOOKS. I noticed
that the NYTimes "notable books of 2007" list does not
include one science book -- Amazing! Anyway, I have
written a preliminary list of science books (which
includes several bird books) that I think are
"notable" for 2007. All of my choices are from those
books that I've read and reviewed this year.

I and my readers would really appreciate your help and
insight; I would like you to add your own suggestions
to this list of books, and I am especially interested
in your suggestions for children's science/bird books.
Remember; you can choose ANY science/bird book that
you thought was excellent, but your choices had to be
published in 2007 (2006 and earlier will be given an
