I don't know if this is special or not but I haven't seen snow geese in suburbia before so I thought I'd post it incase it IS note worthy.
Today I was on my way to work when I stopped for the traffic light in front of Juanita Beach Park. Having nothing better to look at while I waited I scanned the lawn at the park. Among a flock of Canada Geese was a white bird so I pulled into the parking lot for a closer look. I was able to walk up quite close and take pictures of what turned out to be an immature Snow Goose. I think I finally figured out how to use Flickr so hopefully you can see pictures of this bird by clicking on this link.
