Today at Juanita Bay there were 3 Pacific Loons (and a Common Loon), the
Snow Goose that has been there since the 21st, a minima Cackling Goose that
just showed up today, and a male Barrow's Goldeneye that has been with the
flock of Commons since the 23rd. The geese are most easily seen at Juanita
Beach Park. If they're not there they may have moved down the lake to
forage on people's lawns. A scope is probably necessary to identify the
Barrow's and the loons.

I haven't seen the American Black Duck since the 14th and believe it has
moved on. I would be interested if anyone has seen it more recently than
that.

Good Birding,
