Today there was a female AMERICAN BLACK DUCK at Juanita Bay. Probably the
best place to view it is from the base of the east side of the pier at
Juanita Beach Park - 9703 NE Juanita Drive, Kirkland.

Aaron Martin found one here on Halloween in 2004 which stuck around about
three weeks. Today's bird looks very similar and I wouldn't be surprised if
it's the same individual.

If anyone comes to see the black duck I'd appreciate hearing about any other
birds that are around the bay or the park.
