At 10:30 this morning I had 29 Sandhill cranes calling loudly as they flew in 2 groups directly overhead of my house between Preston and Fall City. They were headed SE in the direction of Maple Valley/Enumbclaw. The volume of their voices was impressive - made even more so by the steep narrow canyon they were flying through/over.
