Its been an amazing afternoon over my yard in Battle Ground, Clark County.
Since about 3:15 this afternoon, I've had no less than 1675 geese fly over
(mostly west of the yard) from the northeast going southwest maybe towards
Vancouver Lake (Ridgefield NWR is due west of me). My best estimate is 60%
Greater White-fronted Geese and 40% Cackling Geese. There's also been a
minor movement of American Robins (maybe 50) and Violet-Green Swallows.
