Hello, this is the Audubon Society of Portland Rare Bird Report. This report

A female SUMMER TANAGER was reported September 28 at Malheur NWR
Headquarters. The Winston LAWRENCE?S GOLDFINCH continues to be seen. On
September 29 a BLUE JAY was at Athena, north of Pendleton.

Heavy movements of TURKEY VULTURES, VIOLET-GREEN SWALLOWS, and
WHITE-FRONTED, SNOW, and CACKLING GEESE were reported during the week.

On September 28 an AMERICAN GOLDEN-PLOVER, 11 LAPLAND LONGSPURS, and 300
PIPITS were on the North Spit of Coos Bay. A SAY?S PHOEBE was there October
3. A SABINE?S GULL was at Nehalem Bay September 30.

A SHARP-TAILED SANDPIPER was at Ridgefield NWR October 3. On September 27 a
SABINE?S GULL, a CLARK?S GREBE, and 11 WHITE PELICANS were on Sauvie Island.
Three LAPLAND LONGSPURS were at Fern Ridge Reservoir September 28. A PALM
WARBLER was there October2. A MOUNTAIN CHICKADEE was at Glide October 1.

On October 1 a COMMON TERN was at Summer Lake.
