Hi Tweeters,

This may be the last Night Flight report as things in thrushland have
certainly moved south. It's been a fun project and has really opened my
eyes and ears to what is migrating through this neck of the woods. I'll do
a full report trying to summarize what I've learned about nocturnal
migration over Battle Ground in another e-mail.

Thsi is what I heard last night and this morning:

Greater White-fronted Goose: hundreds
Wilson's Snipe: 1
Swainson's Thrush: 12 (all at about 6:45am - there could have been more
earlier)
Hermit Thrush: 2
Yellow Warbler: 1
Savannah Sparrow: 1

I don't know if these Swainson's Thrushes are late or whether it's normal to
have them still passing through in early October (these are the first days
I've ever been at home in October).
Are big flocks of Greater White-fronted Geese normal over Clark County in
October or were they kicked off their normal route by the weather?
