Hi Tweets...I am new to the list and wanted to report some sightings recently.
(sorry for the late posting) I live in Mill Creek.

I saw 1 RAVEN at the McDonalds on Everett Mall Way on September 12, 10:00AM.
Surprised me because I have never seen one in our area.
(I spend alot of time in Alaska and I thought I was in Alaska for a minute!)

Then on September 20, 5:00PM I saw 2 RAVENS harassing an EAGLE that was flying over the Mill Creek Community Association nature trail park. The Eagle appeared to be following Penny Creek southbound.


September 22, 5:30PM 20+ STELLER'S JAYS mobbing a BARRED OWL! Quite a racket!! (this was in the Mill Creek Nature trail area close to Penny Creek and the fish ladder)

I walk everyday on the nature trails in Mill Creek and very regularly am "buzzed" by the BARRED OWL. I believe
we have two this year, not sure if they are a mating pair but in the spring I heard them calling to each other and just recently they appear to be defending their territory (as they almost take my head off!).

I have not had any Dark-eyed Juncos at my feeder yet the fall.
