I went to Juanita Beach Park this afternoon to look for the reported
American Black Duck. Found one duck that could have been it, though
it also could have just been a dark morph of a female Mallard. I'm
not knowledgable enough to tell, though it was distinctly darker than
the female Mallards it was hanging out with. The darker bill would
not seem to peg it definitely as either a Mallard or ABDU.
