In case you missed it, Ridgefield hosted Bird Fest
today. (Also tomorrow, so grab your gear and go!)
Tons of raptors soaring in the sky, a couple of
SANDHILL CRANE flying overhead, MARSH WRENS, GREAT
EGRET, PINTAIL DUCKS, were the highlight of my day
(not to mention the broken finger, but that's another
story entirely...word to the wise: watch your fingers
on your tripod)

But, the BEST PART was the raptor with the snake!
