Another recent treat has been a large number of White-winged Scoters at both
Birch Bay and Drayton Harbor. At Birch Bay, the birds have been pretty far
out in the bay, as evidenced by the first three pictures in the series
linked to below. Yesterday, there were several in close at Drayton Harbor
giving me the opportunity to get a couple of better shots.
