Dear Tweets

I am best known as "husband of Connie". That you all for
being such great birding colleagues of hers.

The purpose of this post is to inform you all, that
one of my engineer colleagues (a non-birder, but highly reliable)
saw a great grey owl Sunday, at the Seattle Arboretum.

The bird was in the exact center of the Arboretum, about
20 meters west of the road that runs north-to-south
through the Arboretum, sitting calmly in a tree, in
plain view, about 5 meters off the ground.

A map is here:

Good luck locating this fine bird!
