I led a walk for the East Lake Washington Audubon Society this morning at
Juanita Bay Park. The highlight was a Nashville Warbler with about 50
Yellow-rumpeds on the gravel road just east of the fire station along Forbes
Creek Drive.

For the first time since it showed up we did not see the American Black
Duck, but the juv Greater White-fronted Goose is still present and 3 snipe
were in the mud at the north end of the causeway.

On Sunday afternoon there was a Clark's Grebe with 360 Western, 4 Horned & 2
Red-necked Grebes, as well as a female White-winged Scoter.

Last Friday a Western Scrub-Jay visited the park (2nd record), along with a
late Western Tanager.

Good birding,
