This morning at 8:15 a RED PHALAROPE was the lone bird sitting on the north side of Highway 26 at the County Line ponds, 10 miles west of Othello. Gina Sheridan and I got good looks before heading on to Ellensburg. When we returned around 5 pm with Ron Friesz in tow it was in exactly the same location (and a life bird for Ron.)
