After hitting the pumpkin patch on the Brady Loop Road this afternoon, the family and I drove the outer loop. Highlights included a large flock (100+) of Mourning Doves in a corn stubble field just south of the end of Foster Road. We didn't take the time to look carefully at them so who knows if one might find a collared dove in with them. Also, on the western side of the loop, there was a large flock of Cackling and Canada Geese in one of the fields. Amongst, this flock was one "Aleutian" Canada Goose with a white neck band and a partially albino Cackling Goose that had me hoping for a Snow Goose. The white covers the whole body and extends up into the neck.

On the east side of the loop near Willis St., there was a very wet Peregrine Falcon on one of the utility poles and a Red-tailed Hawk on another. I counted 5 Red-tails around the loop and one American Kestrel.
