Hi,

My name is Mie Kingsley and I'm the Production Coordinator at Band-f Ltd, a book packaging company founded by f-stop fitzgerald and located in NY. We were recently contracted to produce a book on birding in the Pacific Northwest and are currently seeking an author and photographers. Bill and Eleanor Marr suggested we contact the Tweeters list members.
The book is for adult novices and is part bird guide, part trail guide and part tourist guide. We are looking for a writer who has familiarity with birding in the NW (Southern AK to Northern CA), some writing experience, a good network of birding contacts, and the time to work on this project over the winter. If you think you might be interested please send me a resume and writing samples.
We will also be looking for photographers of NW birds. Images would need to be hi-res 3-4 MB jpgs. Payment would be a modest per photo fee. We are seeking photographers who can provide a variety of good shots. If you would like to be considered please send some lo-res examples or even better, a link to your collection.
